Types of Heat Pumps
Heat Pumps are the most popular form of heating in Tasmania because they can cool and heat, and they cost about 75% LESS to run compared to “traditional” radiant electric heaters.
Ducted Heat Pumps
A multiple-room heat pump system that distributes warm or cool air from a central inside unit to different rooms, optionally with sensors to control zones and temperatures in different zones.

Wall-Mounted Heat Pumps
The most common and cost-effective types of heat pumps are wall-based units. They are great at providing penetrating heat across rooms, as well as providing a cool blanket of cool air in summer.
Floor Console Heat Pumps
Our customers commonly use floor-based units to cover old fireplaces, as well as use them as a discrete alternative where a wall-based unit is not desired. They are typically more expensive than an equivalent capacity wall-based heat pump.

Multi-Split Heat Pumps
Multi-split systems normally have a single outdoor unit with multiple indoor units, each with its own individual controllers. The advantage of them is that individual room heat pumps can have different temperature settings or turned off.
Cassette Heat Pumps
Cassette heat pumps integrate within ceiling spaces, offering a streamlined heating and cooling solution.
Unlike traditional wall-mounted units, cassette heat pumps distribute conditioned air in multiple directions via louvres, ensuring even temperature distribution.
